A particularly distinctive Fender Custom Shop instrument from the 2017 Limited Edition collection, this ’50s Telecaster Thinline combines a lightweight ash Thinline body with a stunning Pink Paisley Relic finish.
Fender's 2017 Limited Edition Thinline was part of the Custom Shop's “What If” concept—imagining historically inspired Fender designs that never actually existed in their original era. Originally offered in Pink Paisley or Blue Flower, the concept combines the familiar Fender paisley aesthetic with a Thinline Telecaster design.
This example has also been fitted with a Bigsby® B5 Vibrato Tailpiece using a Vibramate® V5-TEV-2 for Bigsby® and Telecaster, along with a Vibramate Spoiler for easier string changes.
Importantly, the Bigsby installation was performed by Two Moons Lutherie in 2024 and required no new holes in the guitar. The Vibramate system allows the modification to be installed without permanently altering the Custom Shop body, making it a particularly attractive addition to a limited-edition instrument. The original bridge is included in this sale.
